[ getting "settled" doesn't exactly sound right in the context of this place. if just for the clear and inarguable fact that nothing was settling about this peculiar land. as a servant, he's always run the potential of being summoned to any time and place— and while the people of the modern world would argue that the world of the past was strange, dangerous, and inconvenient, well. this was carried its own breed of oddities for sure.

but, it isn't like achilles wouldn't and hasn't adapted. he's done his fair share of exploring, as well procuring things here and there, but it doesn't make it any less unnerving. it's in this process that his eyes meet with a stranger's and oddly enough, he's speaking pretty candidly.

he supposed you had to admire the guts and endurance of some guys. but, achilles himself wasn't opposed to sharing some of that grit. with an easygoing smile he gives a shrug. ] Yeah, that's not a bad offer. Appreciate it! [ ... and with his lack of powers, he is finding himself kind of famished.

still, as he sits down, he does ponder on his next line of inquiry. ] That, huh? [ ... ] If you're asking if I like it, I'd have to say not really. [ but, with that said, he's kind of curious to hear what the other man had to say about it. ]
