watching him disappear through the awning, vincent doesn't waste much time following after him. he grabs onto the ledge of the window with his hand, twisting his hip to the side as he brackets the wall with his right leg and then swings his left up to hook it through the window in one fluid motion. pushing the rest of his body through the opening, he leaps down onto the ground below, landing on his feet.
he glances back at the window, long black hair obscuring part of his face. then, in a low voice, he addresses cloud once more. ]
The apartments. [ safer to head back towards the residential area. ] Come on. [ with the canine inside the shop, at least they are no longer in any imminent danger. best to remain vigilant, however; in case there are more of them nearby. ]
