Percy considers his hands for a moment as he feels the weight of Trinket's body settle against him with a sad growl. He buries one hand in the bear's fur using it to anchor himself as he tries to rein in his own hurt. He had surprised himself in offering forgiveness to Ripley...but his conversation with the Raven Queen had been enlightening. He was broken and he was always going to be broken, but broken things can be fixed in small ways and Percy was good at fixing broken items so why could he not fix himself.

"I am...glad that my actions inspired you," he admits quietly, "you are important to me Vex and it's clear that we reach the point that I can admit to how important you have become."
