Percy appears to shrink into himself ashamed of having said anything. Voicing his feelings is difficult on a good day and he is running on fumes even though he doesn't realize how deeply tapped he is. He has made things worse in speaking his heart and there is no workshop to hide in and no work to occupy his mind. All he has is his own spinning mind and a heart too broken to feel whole ever again.

Vax is going to kill him for hurting Vex and Vex most likely is never going to see him the same way again. All he ever did was hurt them and test their bond in ways that would one day break it. That old dark thought that Vox Machina should have left him in that jail cell rears its ugly head and he glances at the disassembled pepperbox in a way he hadn't for a very, very long time.His fingers long to hold it and make the pain stop. "I know," he admits in his voice, with the anguish he can no longer hide. "But I'm speaking the truth, Vex'ahlia...all of it."
